Olímpia, Tourist municipality in São Paulo, Brazil
Located at an elevation of 506 meters, Olímpia extends across 802 square kilometers in the São José do Rio Preto region of São Paulo state.
The settlement originated from Fazenda Olhos d'Água in the 1800s, later receiving English immigrants who assisted in land division during 1903.
The National Folklore Festival takes place annually in Olímpia, presenting traditional Brazilian performances through multiple cultural groups across the city.
Thermas dos Laranjais water park contains numerous pools, slides, and recreational areas, making it a principal destination for visitors throughout the year.
