Olímpia

Olímpia is a town in the São José do Rio Preto region of São Paulo state, located on a plateau at roughly 500 meters elevation. The municipality spans several hundred square kilometers and features a large water park with multiple pools and slides for visitors of all ages.

The settlement began in the 1800s as a rural farmland property, until English immigrants arrived in the early 1900s to help divide and organize the land. This period shaped the foundation of the modern town that would later develop its cultural traditions.
