Bennett Monolith, Archaeological site in Bolivia
The Bennett Monolith is a colossal ancient statue located at the archaeological site of Tiwanaku, Bolivia.
It was discovered in 1932 and named after the American explorer Wendell C. Bennett who led the excavation.
The monolith represents a significant part of the Tiwanaku culture, which thrived from 300 to 1000 AD.
The monolith stands at approximately 7.3 meters tall and weighs around 20 tons.
The Bennett Monolith is considered one of the most important archaeological finds in South America.
