Pico do Jabre rises to an elevation of 3,963 feet (1,208 meters) above sea level, making it the highest point in the state of Paraíba and a prominent landmark in the Serra de Teixeira range within the Brazilian Highlands region.
The summit was first officially measured in the 1950s by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, but a recent 2020s remeasurement using modern surveying equipment increased the recorded elevation by 36 feet (11 meters) from the original data.

The summit offers panoramic views extending up to 81 miles (130 kilometers) on clear days, allowing observers to see portions of the neighboring states of Rio Grande do Norte and Pernambuco from the viewing platform known as Mirante do Sertão.
