Harmony Flats Nature Reserve

Harmony Flats Nature Reserve is a protected nature area situated between Gordon's Bay and Strand in Western Cape. It contains around 220 plant species and features walking trails that allow visitors to explore its natural landscape.

The site gained official protection status in 1986 to safeguard the geometric tortoise population found in the region. This designation became crucial for ensuring the survival of this species in South Africa.
