Marloth Nature Reserve

Marloth Nature Reserve is a large protected area near Swellendam featuring steep mountains, native forests, and several streams with waterfalls. The terrain offers various walking trails through different landscapes and natural pools where water collects in scenic spots.

The reserve was established to protect the mountain forests and water systems of the region from development. Today it combines public lands with privately managed areas to support conservation in the Swellendam Mountains.
