Nederduits Gereformeerde Kerk, Reformed church building in Barrydale, South Africa
The Nederduits Gereformeerde Kerk features a tall clock tower, stained glass windows, wooden ceiling, and a choir gallery in its main structure.
Founded in 1880, the congregation moved to its current building in 1908 after raising 5000 pounds for construction by contractors Ledbury and Moon.
The church maintains regular worship services and conducts an annual spring bazaar that draws members of the Barrydale community together.
Located on van Riebeeck Street, the church building accommodates 600 people and remains open for religious services and community gatherings.
The Norman and Beard organ from Norwich, England, installed in 1908, stands as one of only three such instruments in South Africa.
