Johannesburg Zoo

Johannesburg Zoo is a large facility spread across extensive grounds with animals from around the world displayed in different sections. The layout includes walking paths, viewing areas, and spaces designed to show how each species lives and behaves.

The zoo was founded in 1904 when land was donated to start the project. It grew from a small collection of just a few animals into the large facility that exists today.
