Lower Sabie

Lower Sabie is a campground located within Kruger National Park, situated directly along the banks of the Sabie River. The site offers diverse accommodation from tent pitches to guest houses, along with communal cooking areas, bathroom facilities, a restaurant, and a shop for supplies.

Lower Sabie was established in 1930 as part of early development efforts to make Kruger National Park accessible to visitors. This foundational infrastructure helped shape the park's role as a destination for wildlife observation.
