Arena Joondalup is a multipurpose sports complex featuring seven indoor basketball courts, tennis courts, hockey pitches, and rugby fields spread across 35 hectares of parkland. The facility includes a gymnasium, group fitness studio, cafe, and function spaces to support various sporting and community events.

The complex opened in 1994 and expanded in 2000 with an indoor aquatic center featuring a 50-meter competition pool. This addition established it as a major regional venue for diverse sporting competitions and events.

The venue brings together fans and athletes from multiple sports communities who gather here for competitions and training. Its setting among parkland creates a social space where local sports culture thrives across different codes and age groups.

The venue is easily accessible by car with ample parking available for visitors attending different events. The sprawling site is straightforward to navigate on foot with clear signage directing you between the various sports areas.

The grounds hosted the Rock-It music festival from 1999 to 2012, drawing large crowds for rock concerts annually. This event transformed the space beyond sports and became part of the region's cultural identity.
