The Museum Perjuangan Bogor exhibits photographs, documents, weapons, and currency from the Indonesian independence period in a former agricultural warehouse.
The building, constructed in 1879 by Dutch entrepreneur Wilhelm Gustaf Wissner, transformed from a Japanese army storage into a museum in 1958.
The museum collection includes dioramas depicting regional battles, captured weapons from England and Japan, and currency from the VOC period.
Located 450 meters from Bogor Station at Merdeka Street 56, the museum welcomes visitors daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Before exploring the museum, visitors participate in a ceremonial ritual by singing Indonesia Raya and reading specific Islamic prayers.
