Ratu Boko, Archaeological site in Indonesia
Ratu Boko is an archaeological site known for its unique combination of Hindu and Buddhist architecture.
The site was built during the reign of the Sailendra dynasty around the 8th century.
It's named after King Boko of local folklore, but it's not confirmed if he actually resided there.
The site is located on a plateau, about three kilometers south of Lara Jonggrang Prambanan temple complex.
Unlike other temples in Central Java, Ratu Boko does not have religious nature.
