Tanjung Kelayang is a beach on the Indonesian island of Belitung, set apart by large granite boulders scattered across a stretch of white sand. Coconut palms line the shore, and the rocks divide the coastline into smaller sections, each with its own shape.
The beach came to wider attention after it appeared in the 2008 film based on the Indonesian novel Laskar Pelangi. That film drew many visitors to the region and put Belitung on the map for travelers who had not heard of it before.
