Pantai Tikus Emas

Pantai Tikus Emas is a beach on the eastern shore of Bangka Island with white sand and clear water. Coconut palms line the coastline, stretching inland from the water's edge and providing shade across the beach.

The area was once a tin mining zone before becoming a beach destination. The name reflects this past, and traces of this industrial history remain visible in the landscape.

Local fishermen continue their traditional practices along the shoreline, offering visitors insights into traditional Indonesian fishing methods and maritime customs.

The beach is straightforward to visit and offers basic facilities for day trips. Visitors should bring sturdy footwear as access roads can be uneven, and pack plenty of water and sun protection against the tropical heat.

A striking golden mouse statue welcomes visitors to the shoreline and gives the place a distinctive character. This artwork has become a favorite photo spot for many and provides the beach with a recognizable symbol.
