Tanjung Kelayang Beach, Coastal beach on Belitung Island, Indonesia

White sand stretches for four kilometers along the coastline, with numerous granite formations emerging from the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

The region gained prominence through tin mining activities, leading to the establishment of a dedicated museum showcasing the industrial heritage of Bangka Belitung.

The beach serves as a central location for the Festival Tanjung Kelayang, featuring traditional dance performances, parades, and regional cooking demonstrations.

Visitors can reach the beach within 30 minutes from Hanandjoeddin Airport, with boat rentals available for exploring nearby islands starting from 350,000 rupiah.

The western section of the beach contains a notable granite formation called Batu Garuda, which bears a natural resemblance to a bird's head.
