Ninety Mile Beach Marine National Park

The marine national park extends along Victoria's coastline, featuring extensive sand plains and diverse marine ecosystems beneath the surface of clear waters.

The Victorian government established this protected marine area in November 2002 to preserve the natural coastal environment and marine biodiversity.

The waters and coastline remain part of the traditional Country of the Gunaikurnai Peoples, who maintain strong connections to this marine environment.

Visitors can access the park via the South Gippsland Highway from Melbourne, with entry points available through the coastal town of Seaspray.

Scientists have documented over 860 different marine species within just ten square meters of the park's underwater sand plains.
