Magic Mountain, Merimbula

Magic Mountain is an amusement park located in Merimbula on the Sapphire Coast, featuring multiple rides and water attractions spread across its grounds. The park is built on sloping terrain that naturally accommodates rides at different levels and creates varied scenery as you move through the site.

The park opened in 1983 and launched a new chapter for recreation in the region. Over the following years, various rides were added, including a major slide attraction that was installed the year after opening.

The performing arts stage Rocka House, added in 2010, provides space for 2500 people to experience local entertainment and regional performances.

The park gets busiest during school holidays and weekends in warmer months, so visiting on weekdays or during quieter seasons provides a more relaxed experience. Wear comfortable shoes since the grounds are hilly and involve considerable walking between attractions.

A steel slide cuts across the grounds in a long run and has remained a visitor favorite for decades since its early days of operation. This distinctive ride with its visible structure stands out in the park's landscape and draws attention from across the property.
