Worcester Chambers, Heritage building in Christchurch Central City, New Zealand.
The Worcester Chambers occupies a three-story structure at 69 Worcester Street, featuring Georgian revival architecture with red brick and stone elements.
Cecil Wood designed this Category II heritage building in 1926, and construction finished in 1927, initially housing Digby's Commercial College, a secretarial school.
The building represents the architectural evolution of Christchurch's commercial district, integrating Georgian revival elements into the urban landscape of the 1920s.
The structure underwent seismic reinforcement in 2007, which proved effective during the Canterbury earthquakes of 2010 and 2011.
Worcester Chambers changed ownership multiple times, including a brief period as Gough Chambers, before selling for 2.18 million New Zealand dollars in 2016.
