TSB Stadium

TSB Stadium is an indoor sports facility in New Plymouth with three full courts arranged across 2,000 square meters of open floor space. The layout allows for flexible configurations to accommodate different types of events and activities.

The facility opened in 1992 and quickly became the main sports and entertainment center for the Taranaki region. It has shaped how the local community hosts major events and competitions ever since.

The venue hosts basketball games featuring local teams and draws regional sports tournaments, music performances, and exhibitions throughout the year. Visitors experience how the community gathers here for both athletic competitions and cultural events.

The facility sits next to Pukekura Park and offers roughly 290 parking spaces distributed around the building. Additional grass parking areas open during larger events to accommodate more visitors.

The venue can be arranged for different crowd sizes depending on the type of event, ranging from 2,500 visitors at expos down to 1,000 seats for formal dinners. This flexibility reflects how adaptable the space truly is for various gatherings.
