Waiapu Cathedral of Saint John the Evangelist, Napier, Anglican cathedral in Napier, New Zealand.
The cathedral features wooden ceilings, stained glass windows created by artist Beverley Shore Bennett, and a tall spire that defines its modern architectural style.
The current structure, completed in 1965, replaced the original cathedral that was destroyed during the devastating Hawke's Bay earthquake of 1931.
The cathedral maintains a choir and houses New Zealand's largest church organ, containing over 3700 pipes following a complete restoration.
Visitors can access the cathedral from 9am to 4pm on weekdays, Saturday mornings, and during Sunday services for prayers or guided tours.
The building serves as the seat for both the Bishop of Waiapu and the Bishop of Aotearoa within the Anglican Church of New Zealand and Polynesia.
