PwC Tower at Commercial Bay, Commercial office building in downtown Auckland, New Zealand.
PwC Tower at Commercial Bay is a modern office building with 41 floors located in downtown Auckland's business district. The structure provides extensive workspace with windows designed to offer views across the harbour and city skyline.
Construction of the tower began in 2016 on the site of the former Downtown Shopping Centre and was completed in 2020. The project transformed a central Auckland location into a modern office complex.
The building's architecture combines international business standards with local New Zealand design elements through collaboration between Woods Bagot and Warren and Mahoney firms.
The building is easily accessible from the business district and well connected by public transport. Visitors should note this is a working office building not generally open for tourist visits.
The building was engineered to work around City Rail Link tunnels running beneath its foundations without interfering with them. This engineering solution allowed a major project to be built on complex underground conditions.
