The Royal Botanic Garden, Sydney is a heritage-listed major 30-hectare botanical garden located in the heart of Sydney.
Established in 1816, it is the oldest scientific institution in Australia and one of the most important historic botanical institutions in the world.
It is home to an outstanding collection of plants from around the world with a focus on Australia and the South Pacific.
Admission is free and it's open every day of the year.
The garden is the only place in NSW where you can see a Wollemi Pine, one of the world's oldest and rarest trees.
