Government House is located in Sydney alongside the Royal Botanic Gardens.
Constructed between 1837 and 1843, the property has been the official residence of the Governor of New South Wales since Sir George Gipps in 1845.
It reflects the Gothic Revival architectural style with an Australian touch.
It's open to the public for guided tours on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Unlike other Australian state government houses, this building has hosted kings, queens and other royalty.
