Roseville Bridge, Concrete bridge in Sydney, Australia
The Roseville Bridge extends 377 meters across Middle Harbour, connecting Roseville Chase to Killarney Heights through six traffic lanes and pedestrian paths.
The current structure, completed in 1966, replaced a timber bridge from 1924 that remained as a footbridge until its removal in 1974.
The bridge design by Donald Maclurcan demonstrates the integration of infrastructure with the natural landscape of Middle Harbour and surrounding bushland.
More than 65,000 vehicles cross the bridge daily, making it a central connection point between Sydney's northern suburbs and the Northern Beaches region.
Mangrove vegetation has gradually grown up the bridge pylons on the western shore, creating a natural pattern on the concrete structure.
