Criterion Hotel, Warwick

The hotel was built in 1917 by Connolly & Bell, replacing a single-story timber structure that had stood on the site since the 1860s. The Allman family's ownership from 1887 to 1968 shaped its long operation as a gathering place for the local community.

The pressed metal ceiling in the Public Bar displays a Virgin Mary motif that catches visitors' eyes and reflects the design choices made during the early 1900s.
