Yuwi Paree Toolkoon National Park

The national park encompasses 341 square kilometers of diverse ecosystems, featuring wet sclerophyll forests and open eucalypt woodlands along the Queensland coast.

The Queensland Department of National Parks, Sport and Racing established this protected area on November 19, 2010, to safeguard local ecosystems and wildlife populations.

The land within the national park holds deep connections to Indigenous communities, who maintained traditional management practices in this region over generations.

Visitors can access multiple walking trails throughout the park during daylight hours, with facilities for hiking, wildlife observation, and nature photography.

The park maintains an elevation of 61 meters above sea level, creating distinct microclimates that support specialized plant and animal communities.
