Némoua

Némoua is a mountain summit in New Caledonia that rises to 608 meters, standing out prominently in the island's landscape. From the top, you can see across the surrounding terrain and out toward the Pacific waters that frame the territory.

This summit lies in New Caledonia, which became a French territory in 1853 and remains one of France's overseas possessions. The island's development as a colonial and later administrative center shaped settlement patterns around its natural features.
