Pic des Morts

Pic des Morts is a 199-meter summit near Canala featuring steep slopes and natural rock formations typical of the region's landscape. The routes up the mountain reveal geological features and vegetation zones that change with elevation.

A 19th-century medical facility was built in the summit area during the French colonial period to serve colonial needs. The remains of these structures provide insight into how infrastructure developed during that era.
