The Pike, Amusement park in California

The Pike was a famous amusement zone in Long Beach, California.

Opened in 1902 and closed in 1979, The Pike was one of the most famous seaside amusement parks on the West Coast.

The Pike was home to the Cyclone Racer, a large wooden dual-track roller coaster, which became an iconic symbol of Southern California's beachfront culture.

Today, the area where The Pike once stood has been redeveloped into a shopping and entertainment district known as The Pike Outlets.

The Pike was also known for its tattoo parlors, making it a popular destination for sailors.
