Holy Cross Cemetery

Holy Cross Cemetery is a burial ground of Catholic tradition in Culver City, California, that extends over a wide area with mausoleums and memorial gardens. Maintained pathways lead between the grave sites, bordered by lawns and scattered trees that provide shade.

The Archdiocese of Los Angeles founded this burial ground in 1939 to meet the needs of the growing Catholic community in the region. Over the following decades, the cemetery developed into a preferred burial location for numerous families from the greater Los Angeles area.
