Villa Montezuma

Villa Montezuma is an ornately designed mansion built in 1887 that displays Victorian style with detailed woodwork, stained glass windows, and a distinctive tower at the intersection of 20th and K Streets. The house was built in 1887 as a residence for a musician and gained recognition on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. A fire in 1986 caused significant damage but ultimately prompted comprehensive restoration work that preserved the structure.
