The Panama City Panama Temple, inaugurated in 2008, marked the establishment of the first Mormon temple in Panama and the 127th worldwide.
The temple includes two ordinance rooms and sealing chambers, serving approximately 39,000 members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Panama.
The temple requires advance appointments for vicarious ordinances and provides special equipment for visitors with hearing impairments upon request.
Ships passing through the Panama Canal can observe this religious structure, which incorporates national colors and orchid motifs in its interior design.
