Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino

Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino is a historic estate and museum in Santa Marta featuring 17th-century structures surrounded by centuries-old trees and manicured gardens. The grounds span several levels with multiple buildings and spaces where colonial architecture meets tropical vegetation.

The estate was founded in the 17th century and became an important place in South American history. Simón Bolívar, the liberator of several nations, spent his final days here in 1830.

The name references Saint Peter and reflects the religious importance this place held for local communities over time. Visitors can still see the chapel where people came to pray across the centuries.
