Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino

The San Pedro Alejandrino estate contains colonial architecture from the 17th century, surrounded by a forest of centennial trees and gardens.

Simon Bolivar, liberator of five South American nations, spent his final days in this estate until his death on December 17, 1830.

The Contemporary Art Museum, established in 1986, exhibits works from Latin American artists to promote regional artistic expression and cultural integration.

The museum operates daily except January 1st, with admission fees ranging from 17,000 to 25,000 Colombian pesos depending on age and nationality.

The estate maintains a botanical garden with remnants of tropical dry forest and harbors numerous Caribbean flora and fauna species.
