Estadio Eduardo Santos is a football stadium in Santa Marta, Colombia, with concrete stands surrounding a grass pitch. It holds around 23,000 spectators and serves as the home ground of local club Unión Magdalena.
The stadium opened in 1951 and has been the home of Unión Magdalena ever since. The club's greatest achievement came in 1968 when they won the national championship on this ground.
The stadium bears the name of a former Colombian president. Near the entrance stands a statue of footballer Carlos Valderrama, who was born in Santa Marta and remains a symbol of the city.
The stadium is on Carrera 18 in Santa Marta and is easy to reach on foot from the city center. Several restaurants and bars nearby are open before and after matches.
The stadium is currently being considered for recognition as a Cultural and Sports Heritage site of Colombia. If granted, this status could lead to the creation of a dedicated fund for the upkeep of the grounds.
