Shotwell Stadium

Shotwell Stadium is a sports facility in Abilene with seating for about 15,000 spectators and features artificial turf plus LED lighting throughout. The multi-level press box includes elevator access to accommodate media personnel and broadcasters.

The venue opened in 1959 and has served as the primary home for Abilene High Eagles and Cooper Cougars teams ever since. Both school squads have shared this facility and shaped its role in local athletics over the decades.
