Christ Church is a brick building with Gothic features including narrow lancet windows and buttresses that break up the facade. The exterior is covered with stucco that creates the appearance of cut stone masonry.

The building was constructed in 1858 and incorporated bricks from an earlier chapel from 1829 that stood on the same site. This continuity shows a long history of use for worship.
