Caddo Lake State Park Cabins

Caddo Lake State Park Cabins are nine wooden structures with stone foundations and large windows set throughout the wooded park grounds. Each cabin contains a kitchen area with a refrigerator and stovetop, plus heating and cooling systems to keep the interior comfortable during any season.

The cabins were built between 1933 and 1937 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, a program that created jobs during the economic depression. This construction effort helped establish recreational facilities across the Texas state park system during a pivotal period of American history.
