Marks’ Mills Battleground State Park

Marks' Mills Battleground State Park is a preserved Civil War battlefield in Fordyce, Arkansas, where fighting occurred during a significant campaign. The grounds include walking trails, informational markers placed throughout, and open areas that help visitors understand the layout of the historical battle site.

In April 1864, the site witnessed a major clash between Confederate and Union forces during a military campaign that extended across Arkansas. The outcome influenced the movement of armies and commanders across the region in the following weeks.
