LeFleur's Bluff State Park, State park in Jackson, United States.
LeFleur's Bluff State Park is a 305-acre green space in Jackson featuring forests, lakes, and trails alongside the Pearl River within the city. The park includes a museum, camping areas, and outdoor spaces for walking and nature viewing.
Louis LeFleur, a French Canadian trader, established a trading post on these Pearl River banks in the late 1700s. His settlement became the foundation for what would later grow into the city of Jackson.
The Mississippi Museum of Natural Science housed here displays collections of fish, reptiles, birds, and regional fossils that reflect the natural life of the area. Visitors can see how these creatures connect to the rivers and forests surrounding the park.
The park has an entrance gate with a vehicle fee and provides 28 campsites with hookups, primitive camping areas, and restroom facilities. The trails are generally level and accessible, making walks through different sections of the park straightforward for most visitors.
The park features outdoor nature exhibits designed to support native plant species, showing visitors what grows naturally in the region. There is also an accessible playground located between the pavilions at Mayes Lake for families to use.

Mississippi preserves sites that trace the state's history from indigenous settlements through the Civil War and the civil rights movement. The Windsor Ruins stand as remnants of an antebellum mansion, while the Old Capitol Museum documents legislative history. The Mississippi Civil Rights Museum in Jackson presents the struggle for racial equality, and the Delta Blues Museum in Clarksdale explores the origins of American blues music. Visitors can examine the Grand Village of the Natchez Indians and Winterville Mounds, which provide evidence of precolonial cultures. Natural areas range from the pine forests of De Soto National Forest to the coastal waters surrounding Ship Island. Tishomingo State Park offers trails through forested hills, while Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge protects habitat for migratory birds. Cultural sites such as Rowan Oak, William Faulkner's residence, and Longwood, an unfinished octagonal mansion in Natchez, complement the historical and natural attractions across the state.
