Bondinho do Parque Unipraias is an aerial cable car system in Balneário Camboriú that spans three stations with modern gondolas connecting the coastal areas. The network carries passengers across a height difference while revealing views of beaches, water, and the surrounding development below.
The system opened in 1999, introducing a new transportation method to connect the beaches more efficiently across the region. Over time, the facility expanded and modernized to accommodate growing numbers of visitors.
The cable car belongs to the Parque Unipraias tourist complex and links Balneário Camboriú beach with Laranjeiras beach; its Laranjeiras station stands 100 metres from the sea. In its first ten years the system carried more than four million visitors, and each red cabin holds eight people.
The line runs 3,250 m between Barra Sul, Morro da Aguada and Laranjeiras, the last station standing 100 m from the sea. Cabins hold eight people and travel at 16 km/h, so the full crossing takes roughly twelve minutes. Board at Barra Sul for the beach-to-beach route.
