The system opened in 1999, introducing a new transportation method to connect the beaches more efficiently across the region. Over time, the facility expanded and modernized to accommodate growing numbers of visitors.

Each ride takes about 15 to 20 minutes depending on which segment you travel and which station you exit. It is better to ride early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid long queues during peak hours.
