Point Lookout Light, Maritime navigation aid in Point Lookout, Queensland, Australia.

Point Lookout Light is a concrete lighthouse in Queensland that stands 4.9 meters (16 feet) tall with white exterior walls. The beacon emits three white flashes every 15 seconds and can be seen across Moreton Bay.

The lighthouse began operations in 1932 after maritime planning for this location had started in the 19th century. Its construction was part of a longer strategy to improve safety across Moreton Bay.

The lighthouse stands in traditional waters of the Quandamooka people and is managed today by their Aboriginal Corporation. This stewardship connects modern maritime safety with responsibility for ancestral lands.

The location is easy to access and the white structure is visible from a distance, making it simple to spot. Visitors should expect the light signals to repeat even in daylight, providing good orientation across the water.

After a cargo ship accidentally mistook this lighthouse for the nearby Cape Moreton Light, the structure was later marked differently. This change helped prevent confusion between the two similar-looking navigation aids.
