The Iglesia Santo Cristo del Buen Viaje features twin hexagonal towers and a baroque façade on Calle Cristo between Lamparilla and Teniente Rey streets.
Founded in 1640 on the site of a former hermitage, the church was elevated to parish status in 1703 by Bishop Diego Evelino de Compostela.
The church incorporates a Hispano Mudéjar wooden ceiling and houses a crucifix that dates back more than three centuries.
