The 170-acre garden presents seven different natural habitats with over 600 species of tropical and subtropical plants across multiple themed sections.
Founded in 1993 with support from Harvey Kapnick Jr's five million dollar donation, the garden opened its first phase in 2009 with Brazilian and children's areas.
The garden hosts annual celebrations including the Nature Journaling Invitational and Día de los Muertos, connecting nature with community traditions.
Located at 4820 Bayshore Drive, the garden offers daily tours at 10:00 AM and maintains operating hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with member-early access.
The Evenstad Horticulture Campus develops environmental solutions while supporting plant conservation through research and educational initiatives.
