Little Manatee River State Park

Little Manatee River State Park is a nature reserve in Hillsborough County featuring river channels, hardwood forests, and pine flatwoods. The landscape spans thousands of acres and provides different habitats for wildlife and plant species.

The area was home to the Uzita people for centuries, who relied on the river for travel and food before European arrival. The landscape has remained largely unchanged since those early times and retains natural conditions.
