The Florida Gulf Coast Railroad Museum maintains a collection of vintage locomotives, passenger cars, and freight equipment along a six-mile heritage railway line.
The museum operates on tracks originally constructed in 1895 by the United States & West Indies Railroad, which later became part of the Seaboard Air Line network.
The Florida Legislature designated this institution as one of three Official State Railroad Museums in 1984 for its work in railroad preservation.
The museum provides weekend train excursions departing at 11 AM and 2 PM, with each journey lasting approximately 90 minutes between Parrish and Willow stations.
The operational fleet includes an EMD CF7 locomotive from 1950 and an EMD GP7 from 1951, both maintained by dedicated volunteer crews.
