Hacienda Hotel, Hotel in den Vereinigten Staaten
The Hacienda Hotel is a historic hotel featuring Mission Revival architecture in New Port Richey, Florida. The building displays soft pink walls, rounded arches, distinct wings, a central gathering space, and a large courtyard terrace used for events and daily activities.
The hotel opened in 1927 with 100 rooms and served as a country club for wealthy guests and local society. Following restoration funding in 2014, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996 and reopened in 2022 as a boutique hotel with reduced capacity.
The name Hacienda reflects its Spanish Colonial design inspiration. Today, visitors and locals gather here for special occasions and to enjoy the riverside setting, with the building serving as a symbol of the town's heritage and community identity.
The hotel sits next to Sims Park and the Cotee River, making the area easy to walk through. Today visitors can use guest rooms, a restaurant called Sasha's On the Park, and public spaces that blend historic style with modern amenities.
The 1927 opening drew over 800 guests, the largest crowd the town had seen since its founding. The land was donated by James E. Meighan, whose brother was a famous actor, linking the hotel to the town's early Hollywood connections.
