Rapids Water Park is a water park in Riviera Beach, Florida, covering 30 acres with 42 slides and attractions. It holds a 25,000-square-foot wave pool called Big Surf with waves up to six feet, dual seven-story speed slides, and a quarter-mile lazy river. Big Thunder's open funnel measures 60 feet in diameter and 55 feet in length.

Rapids Water Park was founded in 1979 on 4 acres with four water slides. It later expanded to 30 acres and 35 slides. In 2009, the park bought 2.2 acres just north of its site for $2.2 million and marked its 30th anniversary by inviting racecar driver Danica Patrick to the festivities.

The park appeared in the 1997 film Donnie Brasco and was used as a filming location for a music video by rapper Trina. These connections to popular entertainment have made it known as a place for recreation and leisure over the years.

The park sits in Riviera Beach, with the entrance off North Military Trail; the 30-acre layout is walkable, and the quarter-mile Lazy River doubles as a route between areas. Lockers and changing rooms are near the front, so carry only what you need to the slides.

A special attraction is a water coaster where two guests can race side by side down the slide in competition. This ride offers a thrilling racing experience that is uncommon in most water parks.
