Magnolia Springs State Park, State park in Millen, Georgia, US
Magnolia Springs State Park contains clear springs producing 7 million gallons of water daily, with boardwalks extending across the water for wildlife observation.
The park grounds hosted Camp Lawton during the Civil War, which functioned as the largest prison facility of its time in the 1860s.
Archaeological teams from Georgia Southern University discovered numerous Civil War artifacts in 2010, creating a permanent exhibition at the Camp Lawton museum.
The park offers 9 cottages, 26 camping sites for tents and RVs, 3 walk-in campsites, and a pioneer campground for diverse accommodation options.
The park maintains a 3-mile biking trail as part of the Muddy Spokes Club, where members can earn exclusive merchandise upon completion.
