Fort Hunter Liggett, Military installation in California
Fort Hunter Liggett is the largest United States Army Reserve command post.
Established in 1940, it served as a training ground for World War II and Korean War soldiers.
The fort is named after General Hunter Liggett, who served during World War I.
It provides realistic joint and combined-arms training.
It's home to the endangered California condor.
