Bing Concert Hall

Bing Concert Hall is a modern oval-shaped venue with seating for 842 people arranged in a vineyard-style layout, positioning all seats within about 75 feet of the conductor. The space features large convex sails that circle the performance area, serving both acoustic reflection and video projection functions.

The hall opened in January 2013, made possible by major financial support from Peter and Helen Bing, who sought to strengthen Stanford's cultural programs. This investment represented a significant moment in the university's development of arts facilities.

Stanford Live presents a wide range of musical events here, from classical concerts to contemporary performances and artistic programs of various genres.
