Bing Concert Hall, Modern concert hall at Stanford University, United States.
The oval-shaped concert hall contains seating for 842 people arranged in a vineyard style, with all seats positioned within 75 feet of the conductor.
Opening in January 2013, the facility received its initial funding of 50 million dollars from Peter and Helen Bing to enhance Stanford's cultural programs.
Stanford Live coordinates numerous musical events at the venue, presenting classical concerts, contemporary performances, and diverse artistic programs throughout the year.
Visitors can use free parking in metered and lettered zones after 4:00 PM on weekdays and during weekends at the Stanford campus location.
The concert hall features large convex-shaped sails that circle the performance space, providing both acoustic reflection and surfaces for video projection.
