McDonald Mansion

McDonald Mansion is a Victorian residence in the Stick style located in Santa Rosa, built on a foundation raised about 7 feet above ground level. A broad staircase leads to a columned veranda that wraps around the entire structure.

The house was built in 1877 and served the McDonald family as a summer retreat while they kept their primary home in San Francisco. It later became their permanent residence after the family relocated to Santa Rosa.
